Black Women Table Talk      BWT2

Safety and Strength Among Sisters

  • This gathering brings together women leaders to discuss Table Topics related to striving, thriving, growing and leading in public administration.

  • BWT2 is a peer-to-peer conversation held at least once per season or quarter.

  • BWT2 Participants receive Table Topics to consider for discussion prior to the quarterly gathering.

  • BWT2 occurs in locations that are comfortable, allow for refreshments, and are conducive to conversations.

 

B-WISE participants may contribute media – books, articles, videos and films – to consider for Table Topics via the website or by e-mail to ContactUS@BWInspire.com. 

 

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With BWT2, you’ll have sisters to share and learn to exert your power of choice over whatever life may throw at you.

Preparing Emerging Leaders

  • Mentoring partnership between participants in B-WISE comprised of a more tenured participant and an emerging leader.

  • Partners establish a formalized commitment to work together to support the emerging leader’s professional growth.

  • Partners agree to meet in person at least once per month.

  • Tenured partners are certified by B-WISE, LLC.
